The 2018 Mazda CX-9 is available at four trim levels: Sport, Touring, Grand Touring, and Signature. Each version of the CX-9 bears the robust, yet efficiently balanced SKYACTIV®-G 2.5T Dynamic Pressure Turbo DOHC four-cylinder that can produce 250 horsepower and torque reaching 310 lb-ft. The CX-9 can tow up to 3,500 pounds.*
Incorporating a SKYACTIV®-Drive six-speed automatic transmission with manual-shift and Sport Mode and SKYACTIV-VEHICLE DYNAMICS with G-Vectoring system, this powertrain combination is versatile and practical, able to average an EPA-estimated 24 mpg fuel economy rate in combined city/highway driving (FWD).**
A trinity of drivetrain options prepare the CX-9 for different driving needs. The Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring models are available in front-wheel drive or i-ACTIV AWD®, while the Signature trim is only available with rear-wheel drive.
