2018 Mazda Miata
The 2018 Mazda Miata MX-5 was made for fun. Whether you opt for the soft top or the retractable-targa-top RF model, this sports car is ready to help you have fun out on the road. Add a standard infotainment system, a peppy powertrain, and a driving-focused cabin, and the 2018 Miata MX-5 is ready to turn both your head and the heads of other drivers out on the road.
The 2018 Mazda MX-5 Miata comes in three trim levels: Sport, Club, and Grand Touring. The 2018 Mazda Miata MX-5 RF is available in two trim levels: Club and Grand Touring.

Powertrains & Performance
The Miata’s single powertrain, which comes on both MX-5 and MX-5 RF models, is ready to make driving fun again. The SKYACTIV®-G 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine can be paired with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed sport automatic with paddle shifters. No matter the transmission, this powertrain puts out 155 horsepower and 148 lb-ft of torque.
EPA-estimate fuel economy ratings vary depending on the transmission choice. Manual Miata’s get 26 mpg city and 33 mpg highway, while those with automatic transmissions get 26 mpg city and 35 mpg highway.*
*Up to an EPA-estimated 26 city/35 highway MPG for 2018 Mazda MX-5 Miata RF models with automatic transmission. Manual transmission models, 26 city/33 highway MPG. Actual results will vary.

Interior Design
The cabin of the 2018 Miata MX-5 makes driving a priority. Its sculpted lines enhance the sports car’s athleticism, while all controls are within easy reach of the driver. Despite being small in size, the MX-5 is still surprisingly spacious, though it only sits two passengers. You won’t need much more than that, though, if you’re looking to let your hair down on a long scenic drive. The seats will help you stay comfortable on the go, too, with bolstering that will keep you in place when you’re taking corners.

Standard & Available Features
Each Miata trim comes standard with a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen interface, which gives you access to HD radio. Through this system, you can also connect to Aha™, Pandora®, or Stitcher™ internet radio options. If you want even more bells and whistles a modern vehicle can provide, you’ll find them in the available features. This includes heated seats, a Bose® audio system, leather upholstery, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Lane Departure Warning.
Because the RF model doesn’t have the Sport trim level, it comes standard with everything available on the Club trim, including Bose® nine-speaker audio system with AudioPilot®, MAZDA CONNECT™ infotainment system, Bluetooth® hands-free phone and audio streaming capability. It also has voice recognition to help you stay in command of the infotainment system.
