2018 Mazda Mazda3 | Mission, TX

New Mazda3 Inventory

Drive happy

The Mazda3, in all its forms, is known for its fun driving dynamics and the 2018 Mazda3 achieves this through a two-part effort. First, the Mazda3 is a light vehicle, with its heaviest iteration only measuring 3,100 pounds. Second, though more importantly, it also uses its SKYACTIV®-G engine options, of which there are two. The first of these is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, which comes standard on the Sport trim, producing 155 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque. Upgrade to the Touring or Grand Touring trims, though, and the Mazda3 4-door comes equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder which generates 184 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque.

Touring grandly

The top of almost every Mazda vehicle trim lineup is the Grand Touring model and the 2018 Mazda3 is no exception. This range-topping model offers many advanced and luxurious features which would feel just as at-home in a high-priced exotic. Some of these include:

  • Bi-LED auto-leveling auto-on/off headlights
  • Rain-sensing variable-intermittent windshield wipers
  • Power and heated side mirrors with integrated turn signals
  • Dual-zone automatic climate control
  • Variable heated front seats
  • Perforated leather-trimmed sport seats

i-ACTIVSENSE® safety

As a new Mazda, the 2018 Mazda3 4-door benefits from the brand’s array of advanced driving assist and active safety features, collectively known as i-ACTIVSENSE®. Some of these systems are there to give greater visibility, such as an automatic high-beam control system and an Adaptive Front-Lighting System, which turns the headlights in the direction in which the vehicle is going. Others act in more dangerous situations, like Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Advanced Blind Spot Monitoring, and Smart City Brake Support.
